This past weekend, members of our Colonial family participated in the Dynamic Dirt Challenge at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. It was a demanding 3+ mile obstacle course designed to challenge all around strength, stamina, and mental grit. This team building activity certainly helped our group discover a new level of camaraderie as we worked together to achieve a true sense of collective accomplishment, cheer one another on, and of course, have a great time and some laughs!
On June 2nd a Colonial team participated in the Annual Maine CPCU Society Golf Tournament. We are enjoying being able to get out together on the greens again for this important fundraiser, and I particularly appreciated being able to play with my boys who are becoming skilled golfers themselves (often surpassing their dad!).
This fundraiser supports the CPCU organization which promotes excellence through ethical behavior, resources, and continuing education to enable individuals to expand their technical insurance skills and business capabilities. The CPCU designation is the foremost credential for insurance and adjusting professionals who specialize in risk management and property-casualty insurance. We congratulate those who have obtained this distinguished appointment in their career!

Every holiday season the Colonial Adjustment family chooses a local charity to support. We care deeply for our community and know the need is greater than ever. This past December, we raised money for a local outreach program for the homeless, Preble Street, and their #SayYes to Saving Lives campaign.
Preble Street provides accessible barrier-free services to empower people experiencing problems with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty. They are continuously advocating for solutions to these problems. They serve individuals from every background who share the common hardship of life entering a wildly unanticipated and difficult course. Preble Steet programs not only meet urgent needs, from nutritious meals to crisis intervention, clean clothes to healthcare, showers to a permanent home, but they also create solutions to homelessness and hunger. Their recent campaign, 100 Veterans Housed, provided warm, safe housing for 100 Maine Veterans as we entered the winter months … Read More
