Steve joined Colonial in 2007 after 5 years as a staff adjuster with a national insurance company. As a staff field adjuster, he handled residential and commercial property losses and worked with catastrophe teams in Maine and Texas. Steve has completed numerous training courses including advance residential and commercial property estimating at Vale National, and has earned his Associate in Claims designation. He holds multi-lined adjuster licenses in both Maine and New Hampshire.

Steve retired from the U.S. Army Military Police Corps where he served as a Platoon Sergeant and as a Supervisor of Accident Investigations. After retiring, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern Maine with a BS in Industrial Technology, and a minor study in Environmental Safety & Health.

Steve is a member of our Quality Control Management Team for property, and provides training to new and transitioning property adjusters.

Steve has one adult son and lives in Southern Maine with his wife of over 30 years. He is an active volunteers at several local outdoor clubs, and competes in various action shooting sports. Steve also enjoys traveling, fly fishing, hunting, ATV riding and other outdoor activities at his camp in Northern Maine.
