Colonial Welcomes New Property Adjuster

Eddie Weddington
Property Adjuster – South Portland Office

Eddie joins Colonial with a strong agency background. He has been a regional office manager for a large national carrier for the past two years, where he handled policy sales and coverage explanation, as well as responding to a variety of questions from insureds and managing the overall needs of the office. 

Eddie was considering opening his own insurance agency when he was introduced to Colonial CEO, Scott Kidder. After several conversations about career opportunities in adjusting, he decided to broaden his profession and join our property adjusting team. Eddie brings a keen enthusiasm to learn and a contagious positive attitude to whatever he is working on. His remarkable communication skills, in combination with his attention to detail, are key qualities that contribute to his success! 

Eddie is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Criminology. He will be working from our South Portland, Maine headquarters, and is licensed in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. 

Born in California, Eddie’s family moved to Maine when he was very young, and he grew up in Augusta. He and his wife, Allison, have a young daughter, Alivia, and spend as much family time together as possible. An avid golfer, when he is not with his family he is spending his spare time on the golf course.
