Please Welcome Our Newest Property Adjuster!
Jim Provost, Property Adjuster
Jim is entering his 10th year in adjusting, and will be handling primarily first-party claims within our property division in the central and northern Maine territories. Some may remember Jim from his previous stint at Colonial, as he returns to Maine after several years working as an adjuster in Massachusetts. His experience includes first- and third-party property adjusting, contractor liability, trucking claims, and general liability adjusting. He is licensed in Maine, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
Jim lives in Moscow, Maine with his wife Rose of 40 years, and their chocolate Lab, Molly. They enjoy outdoor activities, and have two grown children. Jim’s name may also sound familiar because his son, Lucas, is an adjuster at Colonial.

General Adjuster Announces Retirement
After an impressive career as a General Adjuster, Dean Fogg has decided that it is time to retire, effective December 29th. While are our feelings are mixed to see such a key member of our Property Adjusting team leaving, we wish him much enjoyment as he embarks on this next phase in his life.
Dean has been an insurance adjustment professional for 33 years, joining Colonial in 2005 after a distinguished career as an internal adjuster, and having owned his own independent adjustment firm. During Dean’s time at Colonial, he has handled commercial and residential property loss cases throughout Maine, with a concentration on our Bangor, north to Fort Kent territory, as well as the Downeast regions in the Calais area.
Dean has greatly enjoyed working closely with newer adjusters to the business, assisting with coaching and mentoring them as they developed in the field, and traveling throughout the state of Maine on his assignments. He will be missed by Colonial staff and our clients.
Dean is wasting no time once he retires, heading to Florida in January to enjoy a lot of golfing and warm weather! He lives in Enfield, Maine, and is looking forward to spending more time with his wife, Trudy, of 47 years, his family, and four grandchildren. He is also planning some volunteer work with elderly or veteran services in his community.
Dean Fogg has contributed many years of service to Colonial, and his achievements will not be forgotten. Please join us in wishing him the best in his retirement!
